Echo Mill Lightning Strikes

Hey! I’m Stella and I’m so excited to be your new head coach at Echo Mill this summer!! I currently attend the University of Montevallo to study Speech Language Pathology. I also compete on the University’s swim team. I specialize in distance freestyle and the 400IM. I swam club at ACE Aquatics before I graduated from Allatoona High School. I competed high school swim for all four years as well. I still hold the school record in the 200IM and relays. My love for swimming started as a summer league swimmer many years ago and I can’t wait to help foster that same passion in others!!

Hello! My name is Jayce and I am one of your head coaches this summer. I am a rising Junior at Hillgrove High School and swim for the Hydrohawks. I have been swimming with Echo Mill Lightning Strikes, Tidal Wave, and ACE Aquatic swim teams since 2015. I am a Boy Scout working on my Eagle rank, member of Order of the Arrow, and an NYLT staffer. I also love to travel and have backpacked around the US, France, England, Greece, and Italy. I plan to spend 3 weeks in Scotland later this summer. I am very excited to be back coaching and love helping teach others to swim.

Hey Echo Mill! My name is Morgan. This is my third year as an Echo Mill coach and fourth year as Mini Bolts head coach. I am a graduate of Hillgrove High School and worked as an athletic trainer/manager for the HHS Lacrosse team all 4 years. I am currently attending Coastal College of Georgia and studying to be a radiology technician. As a former Lightning Strikes swimmer for many years, I am so excited to work with your kids this summer and most importantly help make swim team fun for everyone.

Hi my name is Elise and I am one of your Echo Mill coaches. I grew up in Florida and I have been swimming since I was 5 years old. I am a recent graduate of Harrison High School proudly represented the Hoya swim team for 4 years. This is my fourth year swimming for Echo Mill and third year as an assistant coach. I previously swam for Brookstone 3 before I moved to this area. I have done year round swim team with the YMCA, Stingrays, and Tidal Wave. In my free time, I like to play sports and hang out with my friends. I am looking forward to helping out and inspiring the younger generation to be the best they can be and to share my love for swimming.

My name is Lily and I’m a rising Junior at TandemEdu. I have been swimming with Lightning Strikes since 2021. I enjoyed summer swim so much, I then joined Tidal Wave Swimming to swim year round! I also swam with Harrison High School Hoyas last year and made both the county and state teams. My favorite stroke is Freestyle and my passion is teaching young children how to swim. I cant wait to meet every swimmer and share my love for swimming!

Hello, my name is Nathan Rider. I am a rising freshman at Hillgrove Highschool and plan to join the Hydro Hawks swim team. I’ve been a member of Lightning Strikes for six years. I am also part of Tidal Wave and Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs swim teams. Last year, I volunteered to be a junior volunteer for our younger swimmers on the swim team and enjoyed it so much I asked to be a coach for this year's team! I am the oldest of 5 siblings so I have a lot of experience with helping younger kids. I also enjoy hunting and playing flag football. I am so excited to be part of the coaching staff this summer.
